The North Face Women's Lifty GTX 400 Boot will keep your toes toasty in the coldest conditions. With 400 grams of PrimaLoft insulation, The North Face rates this boot to -40F. Not only is the Lifty Gore-Tex lined, it is also fully seam sealed. Not a drop of moisture is getting these suckers. They also have D-ring gator attachments so you can keep them completely sealed off from the elements. A Winter Grip outsole gives you excellent traction on slippery terrain. With a women's specific last and softer flex pattern than the men's version, the Lifty GTX 400 will get you through long, cold days in comfort.

These boots are the best! With a thin pair of wool socks, my feet were toasty warm! And, I get frostbite at work!!! Very comfy too! Order a size up to fit socks.

If you want to wear heavier socks, which is most likely as these are winter boots, you will want to order at least 1/2 size bigger than your actual shoe size.

Let me preface this by saying that I've had both Sorel Badgers and The North Face Chilkats. Both were returned for comfort issues. These boots, however, keep my feet incredibly warm and work wonderfully both for snowshoeing and just shoveling the driveway. These are by far the most comfortable boots I have ever had. They offer great support and are warm enough to fight off the cold and frostbite.
