Keep the Venture Jacket in your pack or suitcase and you'll be ready for an unexpected downpour. Despite being lightweight, the HyVent DT fabric is tough enough to stand up to everyday use. HyVent DT is a highly breathable, waterproof fabric with a raised microdot inner surface that acts to lift the shell fabric away from your skin. This provides a comfortable, soft, easy-sliding feel while maximizing moisture transport away from your skin. The result: you stay drier and warmer. This combination of waterproofing and breathability makes the Venture ideal for keeping the elements out. *Please note: TNF outerwear tends to run a size larger than you might normally wear. Please consult the sizing chart to determine your proper TNF size.

I bought my Venture jacket so I would have a lightweight, waterproof, packable jacket for the SAGBRAW Bike Tour. However, it looked so sharp and fit so well that when I received it, I found myself carrying it everywhere and using it for everything from going out to a casual dinner to attending church. It is the best little jacket I have ever had. It also kept me dry and cozy in a downpour on the ride. I'm thinking of buying another just to keep a spare in my car or as a replacement in case I damage or lose this one.

Relatively inexpensive, lightweight, waterproof. What more could you ask for? This jacket is everything it promised to be. My friends are amazed at how light it is and that it is still able to repel water the way it does. I have no complaints at all!
