Taking advantage of new processes lets Teko treat their EcoWash wool naturally, without chemicals, to make it shrink resistant and extra soft. These naturally-enhanced fibers are wrapped around post-consumer polyester for drier and feet and reduced impact on the environment. Description of Teko Ecopoly Ultralight Ski Sock:
Teko recycled a few water bottles in order to create the Ecopoly Ultralight Ski Socks. These lightweight socks won’t cut off the circulation to your feet when you buckle your boots, and they wick perspiration, so your toes stay cozy and dry. Teko added a bit of nylon for durability and Lycra for a snug, non-bunching fit.

Bottom Line: PET bottles reincarnated.

This looked like it would have been a sturdy pair of socks but they were not stretchy enough. Had to return because this. If you have BIG calves, you'll be better of with Smartwool--only problem is the smartwool light is still a bit warm. This pair would have been lighter.

These don't contour exactly to the shape of your foot. I'd prefer a SmartWool or Bridgdale sock. They do seam to be more durable than the SmartWool ultralights, but only time will tell on that.
