Timberland Trailscape Vented Hiking Shoe - Women's
Timberland founder, Nathan Swartz, began his bootmaking career in 1918 as an apprentice and learned how to craft fine leather boots. In the 1960s, with the help of his sons, Swartz introduced injection-molding technology to the footwear industry. This technology fused soles to leather uppers without stitching, producing one of the first truly waterproof boots. Now Timberland’s line of boots and shoes, both for work and casual wear have grown tremendously. Timberland believes in quality craftsmanship and giving back to the community and sponsors several community service organizations.

Hit the trail while wearing the Timberland Women's Trailscape Hiking Shoe. Timberland incorporated various special features that support, protect, and guide your feet when running, walking, or cycling on trails. For a leisurely jaunt through the forest, the Trailscape's EVA midsoles and mesh and premium leather uppers keep your feet comfortable and let them breathe. Three-quarter-length shanks and Vibram outsoles protect your feet and give you exceptional stability and traction. When your walk turns into a run, low friction rubber toe guards provide added protection and durability without causing drag, and specially designed forefoot plates give you responsive flex. If you find an abandoned bike on the trail, these same forefoot plates remain stiff to give you increased power while you pedal.
