Description of Tecnica Agent 120 Ski Boot - Men's:
Buckle into Tecnica's burly Agent 120 Ski Boot and put the hurt on the mountain. These 120-flex, 98mm-last freeride boots offer amazing versatility for cliff-hucking freeskiers and all-mountain chargers. Stomp those landings without the nerve-ending backlash on the Agent 120's shock-absorbing zeppa footbed. The Agent 120's 120-flex powers through the choppy snow and GS turns alike, while the foot-hugging 98mm last provides precise power transmission and feel at mach speeds. With its dual cuff leanage and flex-tweaking capabilities, this versatile ski boot handles changing conditions without a problem.
Bottom Line: The Tecnica Agent 120 Ski Boot puts the pedal to the medal and doesn't look back.
These puppies will do anything you need them too. It took 2 session for the ankles to pack out and wrap my feet up like I have been riding them for a year. I have used them allover the mountain from park to steeps and haven't let me down. The straps are kinda questionable so I switched to the booster strap and put custom insoles and work great.
These boots are really great overall, but make sure they fit your foot first. I tried on the 2009 Agent's before buying these. They fit in the store, but after wearing them for half an hour, I realized that they aren't made for a high instep. Other than that, the fit was great. I wear a size 10 in shoes, and bought a size 9.5 in these. They were a bit large - I should be in a 8.5 US (7.5 UK) instead, but even with the larger size that I had (I returned them), the instep still wasn't high enough. The 98mm last is great for my C width foot, and the liner was comfy. No other complaints - I wish I could have kept them!
The Agent 120 is based on the Race Pro 130/110 shell and features but in a 120 flex.
The Agent 100 is based on the Diablo Magma shell and features but in a 100 flex.
If you are a very good rider and you make a lot of backcountry, I think you are better with the Agent 100
