SmartWool's porous natural fibers move moisture while it is still in vapor form before it has a chance to condense on your skin; you stay drier and more comfortable throughout your entire workout. By comparison, synthetics transport moisture after it condenses, which means you must visibly sweat before any moisture management begins. SmartWool fiber is also highly adaptable to a broad range of conditions; it keeps you warm in winter and cool in spring. The naturally anti-microbial Lightweight Zip-T features a ½-length Zip-T collar for increased ventilation when you up the pace on the skin track or single track. Flatlock-seam construction reduces chafing, and an active fit allows for bulk-free layering without inhibiting your freedom of movement.

Shirt fits tightly, but is totally itch-free. Great heat retention and wicking ability. I have long arms and the sleeves are plenty long to cover my wrists, also the torso is long enough to stay tucked-in, plus they did not shrink in the wash/dry. After 4 days of skiing, the shirt does not stink!

I love this zip t shirt. It fully lives up to it's promises to help with thermo-regulation, keeping you warm as you start up the trail at 50 degrees and keeping you cool when the temperature climbs to the 70's and 80's. I've worn it all summer long on miles of trails in the colorado mountains. It is super soft and does not itch AT ALL. And you can sweat all day and still get close to your hiking partners -- NICE. My particular shirt pilled slightly on the first use but hasn't gotten worse...it's barely noticeable. I have a second shirt that did NOT pill at all. Definitely worth the investment...

This is a very comfortable top. It is lightweight and easy to wear on it's own or as a layer. The stetch makes movement easy and not bulky. It is a slim cut, especially in the chest area. For women with a larger chest I recommend ordering the next size. Very warm for its weight!
