Lightweight material is perfect under ski pants. Not thick and bulky and kept me warm. Waistband and upper part of the tights seemed a little loose, but it's better than being restrictive. Boot top elastic kept the pants perfectly in place just below my knees. And keeping the tights out of my ski boots made a huge difference in comfort.
