Description of Swix Alpine Wax Kit :
Instead of dropping your skis off at the shop and missing a powder day, pick up the Swix Alpine Small Wax Kit, and take care of it on your own. The small kit includes a multi-condition wax, 1 p-tex stick, scraper, edge sharpener, detuning stone, and two rubber bands. All you need is a place to work and an old iron from the thrift shop, and you'll be setup at home to take care of most repairs. The edger allows you to sharpen the horizontal and vertical edges of the ski to a one degree and an 89 degree bevel. Use the stone to detune the tips and tails to your liking, slap on a coat of wax, and you'll be ready to take on the mountain.

Light weight, easy to use, has everything you need for a quick wax job(except iron.) Universal wax is actually pretty decent too.

I picked this up for a great deal. If you don't have any tuning/waxing gear yet then this kit is a good place to start. It's also great if you want a tuning kit that's easy for traveling. Overall, they aren't the highest quality tuning tools but this small package will get the job done.

This kit has the bare essentials of what you need to tune and wax your skis or board. By no means does it have it all, but it is compact and works well for those just starting to tune your own equipment or as a compact travel kit. If you are just starting to tune your equipment, make sure to look elsewhere for a tuning guide because this one is in Norwegian, and judging from the pictures, I am not sure it would be too helpful in English either.
