Just got back from a run, about ~40 degrees and windy up here in Boston right now. I wore this and shorts and was sweating pleasantly after a quick 3 miles. I started with is zipped all the way and could feel the chill, but after a few minutes I warmed up, unzipped it a bit, and stayed a very nice temperature throughout. Fit is fairly skintight, though definitely not in the "compression" category. I'd personally recommend it.
The material on this shirt is thin and very smooth, almost silky-- nice to the touch. The shirt fits tight. I wear this shirt under a fleece for cool evening runs. Usually after a mile or 2 I ditch the fleece and zip up the shirt.
