Featuring a lightly sanded Microlite polyester designed to minimize that “whooshing” sound so many running shorts make, the Sugoi 42K Short will allow you to pass other racers in stealth mode. Three mesh fuel pockets, elasticized for expandability, ensure you won't bonk halfway through your event. The key pocket guarantees you won't have to run home from the trailhead after your 20-mile trail run. The 42K Short's full-motion side panels allow you to make full use of that stride you've worked on at the track, while a mesh liner with a gusseted crotch will keep you cool and comfortable where it really counts.

This short will be the best running short you buy. It lightweight and very breathable, although the back pocket serves no purpose because there is no zipper or anything to secure your stuff. However, that does not change the fact that this short is awesome.

These are the best shorts I've ever owned. Well, these and the Pearl Izumi X's (can't remember their name: the fly short?). They dry fast, don't chafe, the liner is cut perfectly...there's nothing negative I can say about these. It's been a long time since I bought a clothing item that made me think, "Gee, I feel faster in this." And I do with these. It's in my head to be sure, but they feel great. cheers, Alex

Great shorts for both road and trail. The rear pockets are very useful, especially when using hand-held bottles with limited storage space.
