The Sherpa Adventure Gear Men's Lobutse Jacket sandwiched a wind- and water-repellent membrane between a stretchy outer layer and cozy polyester fleece lining. Whether you wear the Sherpa Adventure Gear Lobutse Jacket over a base layer or as a mid-layer under a hard shell, you'll stay comfortable when you exert in cold, blustery, damp weather. Polyester fleece wicks perspiration and retains your body heat so you don't get chilled or clammy. Four-way stretch fabric and articulated elbows don't constrain you as you climb or ski. Adjustable wrist cuff closures stop wind from sneaking into this wind-resistant jacket, and hand-warmer pockets are high, so you can access them with a pack or harness on.

This is the third jacket I have purchased from the sherpa label. The other two are made in Nepal, nice cuts, quality stitching. This jacket however, to my surprise was made in China. The pocket zipper is already off of its track. The cuffs are oversized and the velcro is spreading from the stitch. I was also surprised to find the zipper on the opposite side of typical mens jacket. I purchased this jacket as a outer layer for winter ranch work. For all intensive purposes it is a good jacket to work in, but I wouldn't take it into the back country.

Great light jacket. Very water resistant. Only problem was one of the pocket zippers broke off.
