A water- and wind-resistant nylon outer fabric helps block the elements while a hook-and-loop and elastic instep strap provides a custom around-the-ankle fit. Sorel rated this boot to -25 degrees Fahrenheit.

Take a bit of gettting used to the fit   01-01-09

A bit hard to get on because they fit snug for the right reason. I bought a toddler size 6 and a 13 for a 5 yr. old girl. It was a bit of a fight for the 5 yr. old to get use to the snug fit, but she did. And that was the end of cold feet in the snow of Mich.

These boots are warm and they keep the feet of my son dry and warm. The weight of the boot is more than you would expect, but let`s face it these are no running shoes.. Would buy them again.
