SportHill Ridge Short - Women's
When SportHill founder Jim Hill left Virginia to run track at the University of Oregon, he quickly discovered that his cotton sweats and nylon shorts were no match for Oregon's cold, rainy weather. While racing in Europe, he continued to search for clothing more appropriate for Oregon's climate. He admired euro-styled athletic-wear, but the fabrics were still inferior. Jim decided to merge European fit with the best American fabrics, creating the perfect running pant. I love Sporthill pants. I am hard to fit with junk in the trunk and a small waist, but these just don't work for me. They stretch out as you work out and there is not any means to tighten them. I find myself constantly pulling them up, not too handy when you are busy running or lifting. If you happen to catch a glimpse of yourself in a mirror you won't like that either. If you have any tiny bulges, bumps or lump on the lower half of your body, these pants will display them for all to see. I do love the length for running, but I wouldn't recommend these.

These shorts are a great length for long shorts (I'm 5'4" and they are right at the bottom of my knees). The material is stretchy and free moving which is great! The only thing is that the waist is a little big. If you're a little hesitant with the size you think you need, go down, not up. The pockets don't seem very secure either. Wouldn't put anything in them I really didn't want to lose.
