Description of Special Blend Lifty Jacket - Men's: |
 |
Special Blend made the Men's Lifty RLS Snowboard Jacket for dudes who spend most of their time on the slopes. When the lifts close, wear this three-in-one coat's removable liner hoody anywhere you don't need the waterproof shell. The Lifty Jacket's flex gussets and articulated elbows give you the mobility you need when you're spending 40+ hours a week on the mountain. Critically taped seams and 10K-rated waterproofing keep the storm on the outside of your coat. Snap the powder skirt to Special Blend snowboard pants for a hard-to-beat suit of armor against snow-sprays. If you get too hot, zip out the liner jacket and open the pit vents before boarding the lift for run #20.
Bottom Line: When you're not wearing the Special Blend Lifty RLS Jacket, wear the liner to prevent separation anxiety.

| Good, but not great 10-21-09 |

| This is a pretty decent jacket overall. The liner is a bit thin to my liking, so if you're going to be using this jacket to do anything other than pound the slopes (aka use it leisurely), plan on wearing a hoodie underneath. Also, the way the liner's hood sits in the jacket is awefully awkward. Either you have to have it drape down your back, or stuff it into the shell's hood. Either way, not a great option. The liner's cuffs and bottom hem are some cotton blend, so expect them to get soaked after the least bit of snow touches them. I do like the way the hood on the shell snaps down when not in use (or you can zip it off). And, this jacket flat out looks sick. However, I think better jackets could be found for the money. |

| the jacket is sick! it is extremely comfortable and keeps you warm. last big jacket i owned kept me warm but had no movement what so ever. it has style that goes great with most pants. i always buy my snow clothes huge, feel like i can move around more. i got a XL and its big but not to the point where it gets in the way. |

| This jacket is for sure one of the best investments I've made clothing wise for snowboarding. The liner is a little flashy but is nice. Pockets galore for anything u wanna carry. More importantly it's warm as hell and is straight pimpin. For the price you can't go wrong. |
