Description of Special Blend L-R-G D.B. Pant - Men's:
The Special Blend L-R-G D.B. Pant—apparently there's only a couple hundred of these limited edition riding pants in existence—so get 'em before they go up in smoke. Over the last few years, L-R-G has blown up on the scene, and it teamed up with Special Blend to bring you these herringbone pants. They're based on Special Blend's D.B. Shell Pants, which means they brag 10K waterproofing, lots of breathability, critically taped seams, and a baggy fit. But who really cares? The main thing is that the L-R-G Pants are virtually one-of-a-kind.
Bottom Line: The LE SB L-R-G D.B.—damn… how's that for abbreviation?
If you're tired of the baggy look, these are good. The legs are tapered and the bottoms are slightly flared for your boots. Waistline is adjustable via stretchy sides and velcro. The material of the shell doesn't do the best job of staving off snow. It rather sticks to it. As the day gets warmer, you'll notice your pants becoming moist on the inside. If you want these pants, just don't fall. Or you can just open up on the vents on a warm day. I still like these.
Whore these a couple times in the rockies and several times in the alps. They look and feel awesome, and I love the style, but am going to have to return them. Regardless of condition, if warmer pre season, or negative 10 Celsius, these pants will leave you with a soaked butt every time. I don't even want to know what they'd be like in the spring!
