Good but could use some insulation   01-03-08

Its a great shell. If you don't mind the purple liner. It has a dedicated ipod pocket and at least 8 pockets and looks and fits well. It fits pretty baggy (especially the arms) so if your on the edge id say get the smaller size. The only problem is there is almost no insulation so you really need to layer well.

This jacket has plenty of features. Pockets everywhere, ticket tags, removable hood, gore-tex layer. The jacket has almost no insulation though, which makes it useful for warmer days in socal but layers definitely needed for colder climates.

This jacket is extremely waterproof, it was raining the day it arrived so I took it around town to see how it will hold up. Kept me completely dry. Not too crazy with the baggy size though, there is a lot of extra room in the underarm area so it makes me look big (I am 5'6 and the small looks kind of big on me). But it is a very nice jacket and fairly cheap gore-tex shell compared to other brands. Can't wait to hit the slopes with it. Superior quality from Special Blend!
