Description of Special Blend Signature Gore-Tex Jacket - Men's:
Sure that 5K jacket looks dope, but it doesn't do shit when it's nuking. That's why you need something with a little more cajones—like the Special Blend Men's Signature Gore-Tex Jacket. This fully taped jacket rocks a Gore-Tex shell, which is guaranteed to keep you dry. This means you can shred straight into a blizzard (or through the wettest spring slush) and come out the other side completely dry. Special Blend gave the Signature Jacket Underarm zips for extra ventilation, and plenty of external and internal pockets for your pass, goggles, phone, and iPod.
Bottom Line: Special Blend's Signature Jacket—no BS protection.
Its a great shell. If you don't mind the purple liner. It has a dedicated ipod pocket and at least 8 pockets and looks and fits well. It fits pretty baggy (especially the arms) so if your on the edge id say get the smaller size. The only problem is there is almost no insulation so you really need to layer well.
I bought this on WhiskeyMilitia last season. I got the blakc, as the green is a little over the top for me. This shell is excellent in all regards: waterproofing, breathability, pit vents, lots of pockets, mp3 pocket, removable powder-skirt, removable hood, and the list goes on. Want a great snowboarding shell that will last? Get this!
This jacket has plenty of features. Pockets everywhere, ticket tags, removable hood, gore-tex layer. The jacket has almost no insulation though, which makes it useful for warmer days in socal but layers definitely needed for colder climates.
