Special Blend's logo of "first chair to last call" fits this jacket perfectly. It will keep me warm on the slopes and the color and cut are great for around town. I got the acre morning dots XL jacket--I'm 6' and 145--and it fits great. I typically wear a large in marmot and north face, but the Special Blend Electra jackets run one size small. The hood is large enough to fit over my ski helmet. The sleeves are long, which I love since I'm tall. I would definitely recommend this jacket to other women with tall, slender builds.

cute jacket, runs small and short with no pit zips   10-30-08

I returned the jacket as it was too small and short, and I'm currently waiting on the larger size to be shipped out. It is very cute and would be perfect if it only had pit zips. I know that I will be sweating on the ski hill, but the price is right and frankly I'm sick of jacket shopping. I would highly recommend getting the jacket one size larger. It was tight across the shoulders, hips, and too short. Hopefully, the next size up will fit better.

I love this jacket. Special Blend really thinks about the details, and artesian water is gorgeous, it's different from other jackets on the mountain. When you order, know that these run tight - maybe it's just the Electra fit - but the elastic around the waist kinda squeezes. I wish I could've gotten one size larger.
