Special Blend made the Women's Proper Jacket with a full, plush faux-fur lining, which means you feel luxuriously warm even thought it's butt-freezing on the hill. Since riding in wet faux fur would be really gross, the Proper Jacket has 15K-rated waterproof fabric and fully taped seams. Open the pitzips when it warms up, and stash glove liners and lip balm in the front cargo and chest pockets. The Special Blend Proper Jacket's feminine cut leaves enough room for light layering underneath, the hood adds head warmth, and the powder skirt keeps snow from sneaking in.

I love this jacket...wearing it lots off the mountain. The polka dots are the perfect girly touch for a tomboy like myself and I love the super soft inside (very nice for the trip to the hot tub). There are lots of extras that make the jacket useful on the mountain. I am a bit curvier than the average snowboarder and was a little disappointed in the way that the jacket is cut. It's a little tighter than what I would like around the hips, so it sits up a bit instead of hanging nicely. I bought a large and it didn't help much. but for all you tiny girls, I don't see a negative to this jacket! The eggshell color is sweet and not many others on the mountain are wearing this color...

This is a good looking jacket, but not very warm. The bottom snap fell off the fist day i rode in it and i put my earings in the breast pocket to find that the seam had already ripped in the bottom of the pocket! There is defenetly some design flaws in it as well: - ipod pocket not functional as you have to totally unzip everything to get to it and there is not where for the cords to go. powder skirt snaps only attach to special blend pants. Pockets are small and pretty useless. Like most girls gear these days this jacket is fashion not function...
