Description of Spyder Silverton Backpack: |
With its no frills, utilitarian design, the Spyder Silverton Backpack loves resort-accessed backcountry laps or short tours. This streamlined, 11-liter pack features dedicated pockets for eyewear and skins, as well as a stash pocket for random small items and a hydration sleeve in the shoulder strap. Use the ice axe loop for technical or exposed ascents. The diagonal ski carry provides storage for your boards when you’re booting ridges or chutes.
Bottom Line: Load up the Spyder Silverton Backpack and leave the resort to the gapers.

| Great for everyone except short women 11-25-08 |
alex.smoly2255980 (4): |
| My one problem with this pack is that the back height is little too long for me. I'm 5'3 and I wouldn't mind if it was a little smaller (the straps are also not optimally positioned for a woman's frame). Otherwise, I would love it. The pack's most distinguishing feature is its small volume. The capacity is 671 cu. in., which is very small. A helmet won't fit inside this pack (though I find it's pretty easy to attach it to the handle). If you want something to carry an extra pair of goggles, gloves, skins, and a sandwich, this is your pack. It's small size means there's not much room for stuff to shift around. It's flatness also means it doesn't shift your balance back too far, even if you put bricks in it (though I can't say I tried). |

| Perfect Day Pack 03-31-09 |
Julian Carr (33): |
| This pack holds just the perfect amount of room for skins/trekkers, extra pair of goggles, water, snack, and extra (small) layer. The straps are adjustable for how far up or down you want the top strap to sit across your chest. This pack is pefect for day outings. |
