Baffled construction keeps the lofty 700-fill down in place and evenly distributed, preventing cold spots. This jacket is well made, very warm, and has great feature. However I have long and lanky build - 6'3" 190lbs. and found the arm length was not there. I needed a fit that is slimmer in the body, but longer in the arms. Cloudveil, Northface, and Marmot all solve this problem well. If you don't have the long arm length, the Spyder jacket is awesome.

GREAT jacket...chalked full of detail...my first spyder purchase..love it.. they pay close attention to detail...this is super warm and has a very cool design. I bought this for my son, whom you could'nt pay to wear a jacket...he thought this was so cool he wears it everywhere...I wore it to put up christmas decorations outside...it was a cold windy night and I was toasty. Plenty of cinch cords to tighten down and seal in warmth..can even nip in the waist to combat the michelin man look.
