Awesome design, comfortable, waterproof, stylish too. Spyder is going after the backcountry skier with Arc'Teryx-like soft shell (but not as pricey). Lots of fun pockets, great venting that works with a pack on. The Spyder Chute Pants complement this jacket well. I use a base layer and vary the mid-layer depending on the weather. Not too heavy of a jacket. Sizing is normal, I wear a large (5' 11" 200 lbs) and it fits great. The lifetime warranty makes this a no-brainer. Something about Spyder outerwear is so cool, but now they get it too. Buy this jacket you will not regret it.

This jacket is amazingly windproof. It keeps out water very well also. I just got back from 4 powder days in Jackson Hole, and I was amazed at how well this jacket blocked the wind up top. The water repellent treatment could be a little stronger though. I was never wet inside the jacket - which means the jacket served its purpose - but when it warmed up a little the jacket retained some extra water weight. Overall a great soft shell, perfect for spring skiing... and definitely worth the price.
