Fully taped seams block moisture, and synthetic insulation keeps your legs warm on long chairlift rides. The Poacher Pants' side ventilation zippers dump heat when you're booting up for fresh tracks, and inner gaiters keep snow out on the descent. The unique design on the back of the Poacher Pants matches with Sypder's Poacher Jacket.

How is 32" not equal to 32" ?   07-18-08

If you are buying from the land of Oz, beware of the Spyder sizing charts. According to the sizing chart (and also stuff that I get everywhere else), I am a perfect medium. Although, when I got these, they were clearly too big, more like a 35-36" waist, with very over sized legs. Otherwise, the pants themselves were very good quality, well made and comfy. I am getting another pair, this time in small. It's very annoying that it cost me an extra $60 in shipping! Thats almost a lift ticket for a day.

These pants clearly bring everything one needs to the table. They've got flexibility and functionality for every type of terrain. It's possible that you might get a little hot if you're spring skiing, but that's nit-picking. Great pickup, can't wait 'til next season.

Not only do these pants look incredible, they are made in outer space. That is the only way to describe the look and more importantly the feel. They are warm enough for those cold days and the vents are large and will give you some flow on those spring days---not to mention refract the sun light unlike those black solar panel pants you already own!
