Description of Smith V Ti Interchangeable Sunglasses - Platinum Lens:
Go cruise the mountain this winter without the annoying glare from sun on snow with the Smith V Ti Platinum Interchangeable Sunglasses. The platinum lenses' silver mirror coating cuts light and glare by reflecting it away from the eye, which makes it easier to see those bumps and dips on the mountain. Smith gave the V Ti Sunglasses a TR90 Grilamid frame which can handle any adventure you tackle. If light conditions change, just switch out the lenses on the Interchangeable V Ti Sunglasses—they come with three. Hydrophilic Megol nose pads keep these sporty sunglasses on your face instead of in the dirt or snow. *See sizing chart for lens information.
Bottom Line: Go and tear it up on a sunny day with the protection of the Smith V Ti Platinum Interchangeable Sunglasses.
These glasses are *SO* close to perfect, but they've got one fatal flaw which ruins them completely. They are light, strong, stay on your face really well, the optics of all three lenses are nice, and the hard-shell case is terrific. BUT....Smith silkscreens a huge logo at the bottom of both sides of each lense, well inside your primary vision. Those logos make me think about stopping my bike every two minutes to wipe off the bugs which appear to have been smashed across my lenses - but there are no bugs - it is those (GRRRRRR!!) Smith logos. If I could grind 1/4 inch off the bottoms of the lenses (to get rid of the Smith logos) without ruining them, I would have a pair of glasses I'd rate @ 5. However, what I'm left with is a pair of glasses too annoying to wear.
I love these glasses, they provide lots of coverage and are really comfy to wear. Only one problem, the nose pads are a little close together but that probably just means I have a big nose
