The Smith Director polarized sunglasses were one of the gifts we gave my son. An automatic hit! I tried them on for fun and everyone said they looked good, so I decided to order a pair to replace the ones I now use for driving. The Oakleys are great but delicate. The lens can pop out when cleaning them. In addition, I am non-athletic and Oakleys look a bit out of place on this homemaking mom.
These glasses are great! They were a little snug at first and I thought about returning them, but after a week of wear they fit great! I'm a regular Oakley wearer, but these have a great simple look.
Indeed, these are sweet shades. I used them while climbing in Zion and Red Rocks. Excellent shading for my eyes, and the polarization does wonders for glare. If you are concerned about style, they may or may not cover over your brow. It just depends on the proportions of your face.
