The Sherpani Emi Baby Carrier has a front pouch for carrying your child backward or forward. Plus, unlike other kangaroo-style carriers, the Emi has a swivel hip-belt and a detachable daypack for snacks, diapers, and other trail necessities. Having a backpack counterbalances the front pouch, which evens the pressure on your back and makes it more comfortable than other front carriers. The backpack holds your hydration reservoir (not included), so you don't have to take the pack off—a pain in the rear when carrying a baby—to get to your water.
