Description of Sherpani Rumba Superlight Backcountry Baby Carrier:
If you don't want your kid carrier to feel like you're toting your spawn as well as his babysitter, grab the Sherpani Rumba Superlight Backcountry Carrier. This lightweight backpack adjusts for 17-20in torso sizes, and the waist-belt fits 29-42in waist sizes. These adjustments comfortably fit your frame, while the Five Point Chest Plate holds your baby upright with five security straps and cushions her with padded foam. Store some Cheerios, a camera, and your water bottle in the large mesh back pocket and lower compartment.
Bottom Line: Warning: The Rumba Superlight may result in bouts of: “Oh no. My pack feels too light. I must have dropped my kid!”
My 20lb 6 month old is perfect in this carrier. The shoulder straps and waits strap make it a comfy fit for both mom and dad. The construction is solid and there are plenty of pockets. Mine did come w/ the sun hood and rain cover.
I haven't got my Rumba yet but I am looking forward to it, I bought the regular one for a killer deal and then got confused reading this review, Sherpani does in fact send out the rain covers for both versions to the U.S. as long as the models are fairly new
