There’s Boa in your 686 Women’s Plexus Launch 3-Ply Jacket, although fortunately or unfortunately that doesn’t mean this snowboard jacket comes with a live snake that’ll scare the living poop out of the guys you ride with. Integrated Boa Technology lets you dial the fit of your hood just right (get it? Dial, Boa dial … ugh). This is important because the Plexus Launch also has 20K-rated waterproof fabric, a three-layer welded construction, and fully taped seams, so you can ride out the nastiest winter storms. Having a hood that won’t blow off your head is key. There’s also a Boa dial at the hem that works with the powder skirt to block out snow.
Bottom Line: Don’t mess with the Boa.

mainly needed a waterproof snowboard jacket for all the wet snow here, the flower design was a bonus. petite 5'2'' and slender. thought an xs would be good, but the sleeves were way too long & waist too wide. dial tech nice, especially for the hood, but not worth the extra $. ended up having to return. better luck next time.
