Take the Scott P3 Alpine Skis and slaughter the competition in the park and pipe. Proven in the X-Games as a freestyle monster, this twintip ski eats up freestyle terrain. As the foundation of Scott's freestyle line, the Scott P3 Alpine Ski features a strong sandwich sidewall construction that provides amazing pop, quick response and solid stability. Pro Tips give you a progressive flex and predictable tip behavior—for your much more un-predictable moves.
Bottom Line: Eat up park competitions on the Scott P3 Alpine Ski.
This ski is awesome. When I first got it, I felt like it was super stiff, and I was skiing pretty crud/spring conditions at snowbird. It handled the entire mountain really well because of how stiff it is. Now that skiing has started again, I am skiing this ski on rails at Park city. The thing I now notice about this ski is that it is super poppy. Even though it is stiff, it is a really playful ski. It is pretty hard to nose butter this ski because of its stiff flex pattern, but it really is a sick, underrated ski.
I used the P3s as my go to park ski this last season (08-09). I uploaded a couple pictures as well. Check em out. Anywho, The P3 is very stiff and stable for a park ski, making it fun all over the mountain. Which I personally love. If your on larger features or a heavier person it is wonderful, smaller jibs can be a pain do to the stiffness of the ski. It is very poppy. It handles crud very well. obviously, with a 118mm shovel (ive got the 178s) it isn't a powder hound but i did use it in 6-9 inches of powder several days with no issues, and i was at true center mount. The biggest plus to this ski, DURABILITY. I destroyed several pairs of skis this last season, I couldn't break these things. the topsheet is indestructable as well. AND it didnt seem to lose it's pop like other cores do after 20 days of hard park riding. If this is your only ski and you live out west I'd pass and get something a little wider underfoot. If this is the ski you're rocking all the time except deep powder days...go for it.
