No need to nerd out on your computer…just pick up the Scott Unix Pant and you’re all set with a whole new operating system. The strategically-oriented insulation in these relaxed-fit ski pants keeps your legs warm without weighing you down or overheating you with extra bulk. Spectrm 8.10 waterproof fabric and critically-taped seams keep you dry, and an array of leg cargo pockets keeps track of every spare lens and safety implement. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and bag some lines!
Bottom Line: Not those kind of Unix…that’s just wrong.
I ordered but am returning. Cool looking for the younger fellow but I'm 54--the extra baggy legs a little too much. I'd have kept them anyway but the fabric is like canvas and really heavy, and probably way more insulation then I need. Am going with the North Face Liberation on rec. of Chat room, which by the way is very helpful. Also kudos for making it easy to return items.
I just tried these on and sent 'em back, didn't actually ski in them. They fit well, look good, and the quality seems high. But they are very heavy, it feels like the weight is dragging them down off my waist, I didn't like that at all. The material is very heavy, and there's lots of it, not to mention 8 pockets all with metal zippers and some with flaps. I don't want any back pockets on my ski pants, a couple of hip pockets and a thigh pocket is plenty. If you don't care about the weight or the pocket plethora, these seem great.
