Description of Salomon Dialogue Wide Snowboard Boot - Men's:
Fat-footed freestylers, meet your boot: the Salomon Dialogue Snowboard Boot. This boot's versatile mid flex delivers increased board feel in the park without compromising response for bombing down to a backcountry booter. Salomon's Biocage liner uses self-molding foam for comfort and a cushy feel all day long. When you're coming up to a nasty double kink, you'll appreciate the super lightweight and ultra thin Dolby sole and its shock-absorbing ADIPRENE compound.
Another first from Salomon! Wide snowboard boots that don't take up much more space, awesome. Salomon boots are great out of the box, and continue to perform year after year. I have these boots for park/spring days since they are softer then the Synapse or Malmute.
Used these for all mountain riding and they lasted forever! I have a heel lift issue and these are great for keeping the heel down. I have tried DCs and had trouble with heel lift. The Salomons don't seem to have that problem. I am buying a pair of Malamutes, because I think a stiffer boot will serve me better, but never had any issues with the Dialogues, just packed in from 5 years of riding. I would say the entire Salomon line has it right. These aren't about cool kids, just function for real riders.
I have heard K2 also makes a great boot. I have heard Burton has breakage issues with their boot hardware, but I have a Burton Air board and toecap bindings and they are the bomb.
After two days, my boots are so broken in, they turned into uncontrollable, unusable mush.
I did research, I paid retail 209, I went through professional fitting.
Pure disappointment.
