I've been skiing in these boots all season and have a few issues. 1. the insole does not stay in place as you are kicking, it slowly shifts back and moves up the back of the boot (very irritating and uncomfortable!) 2. The ball of my foot ends up numb with anything more than 8km then gradually turns to burning pain. 3. I find I have to really tie them on tight to keep my foot from shifting around inside. Each foot seems to measure differently as well On the plus side my feet are never cold in these boots and my feet usually freeze in ski boots. They do have good support if you can get them done up evenly As a beginner boot I would recommend them but not if you plan on doing more than 8km runs, 3+ days a week.
