The Salomon Juneau Jacket has no qualms with traveling to the peak in your pack. It’s proud of its just-in-case status, ’cause when just-in-case becomes a reality, the Juneau becomes a lifesaver. The super packable Primaloft Sport insulation keeps the Juneau lightweight and barely noticeable amongst your cargo during dawn patrol tours and late-fall backpacking trips. Store your keys, headlamp, or snacks in the Juneau Jacket's zippered hand and chest pockets for safe keeping while you're on the go.
Bottom Line: So light, compact, and warm, you’d be weird if you didn’t bring it along.
I've had mine for about 3 years now and it's still going strong. It's light and SUPER-warm, I just tuck it under my MH windstopper to keep the wind and the wet out. Great jacket for layering, I only really wear it if I'm outside for a long time (and not being active) or it's below 0.
I have not found a salomon jacket I thought was functional.
This one Runs small. Is too heavy for its purpose therefore overheating will occur and there is No sleeve adjustment which is bitterly needed
