Not the best Salomon's I have purchased   09-29-08

These shoes promised enhanced cushioning, which I found to be true of the heel, but not in the front of the shoe. I can only use these for shorter walks and low-impact activities without pain in the ball of my foot. In the right shoe, I also have problems with the crease casued by walking: it digs into my front right toe and is painful. Otherwise, they are well-made and someone who does not need that extra cushioning will probably like these.

These run really big, almost a full size, I would recommend ordering them 1/2 size smaller than a size that normally fits snug. They do seem to feel sloppy still, could be due to the lack of the standard extra shoelace hole for running. These are ok for light running or exercise but I wouldn't recommend them for long or technical runs.
