The Salomon Men's Snowtrip Softshell Jacket provides all-weather versatility with waterproof breathable climaPRO Softshell fabric and an actiTHERM insulated zip-in liner. This three-in-one jacket allows you to choose your level of insulation from freezing days on the hill to warmer spring days. When the storm hits hard, wear the zip-in liner for extra warmth and pull on the adjustable hood for non-restricting protection. When the day warms up, ditch the zip-in liner and hood and wear just the shell. Pull out the arm pocket's chamois wipe to clear off your goggles after each lap in the deeps. The air-permeable side panels help regulate your temperature when you wear the shell alone.

This jacket is smokin. Not only the appearance but it also keeps you really warm. No wind goes through the material so on the windiest days it's great! The neck part which is pretty long also helps to keep the heat in. I find it a little weird when you sit down because you kind of get ingulphed in this neck warmer but if you unzip it a bit it works out great. I guarantee you'll enjoy this jacket as much as I do and it'll catch everyone’s eyes. It's made of very nice material and it'll make everyone want to touch it. The inner soft shell is beautiful in the spring or warmer days because of its light brown color and once again it's made of some material developed in heaven!*Laughing*. AMAZING JACKET. That's all I have to say.

An excellent middle to extreme cold jacket- the black is not trendy so it has shelf life. Here's the rub, and I do mean rub. The arms seem to be cut too high right under the arm, so if you're wearing anything of significance-like a light fleece, you get some uncomfortable friction there. Unless my arms have dropped...

This jacket is absolutely awesome, very comfortable; it's fitted in such a way that finally XL doesn't mean Xfat, which works well for those of us tall people ... The only downside are the crippled zippers.
