| I live at 10,000 ft elevation in Summit County, Colorado, I work in the ski industry, and after several years here, I get frostbite very easily. Needless to say, it's extremely difficult to find a jacket that can keep me warm in this environment, but I've never been cold in Salomon's Miss Maya. I've had this jacket for 2 years now, and I absolutely love it. I take it everywhere... Whistler, backpacking up Mt. Kenya, and all of Colorado's mountains. It's also super cute & slim-fitting, which are nice features in a place where people stay bundled up 8-9 months of the year. Whoever said 'fashion over function' was highly mistaken, and as for backpacking, it's down, so you can scrunch it into a fairly small ball. |

| This jacket is awesome. Kept me warm in 15 degree weather up in the cali mountains and blocked all the wind. I was even sweating when I walked around. Only issue is that you might get chilly if you are just sitting in the cold, but that's to be expected. Don't move the body, it settles and gets chilly. Works well in light rain. Haven't tested it in heavy rain. Don't get much of that in southern cali. |
