The Rossignol Women’s Leaf Jacket keeps water absolutely out while still breathing away internal steam. A Gore-Tex Paclite Ripstop material stands up to the burliest abuses while completely fighting off the wet elements, and adjustable sleeve cuffs and bottom hem customize fit while blocking cold air and moisture. Even the zippers are water-repellent. In other words, ain’t nothin’ gettin’ in this backcountry jacket. Rossi even threw in a little stuff sack so you can easily pack the Leaf Jacket away in your pack.
I just got this for my girlfriend and, while she's yet to try it out in the elements, I feel the need to point out there are two problems with the product listing that I can see now that it has arrived. First, it IS seam taped. Second, it doesn't really have an internal pocket, though you could conceivably use the areas created by the external pocket pouches on the inside in such a fashion, but I wouldn't recommend it. Also, the "garden" color is much brighter than it looks on here.... in a good way. On one more positive note, it does have a scheme for holding the hood in a rolled-away position. Generally, the jacket seems to be rather well made.
