Description of Rossignol Bandit B-Squad Composite Ski Boot - Men's: |
 |
When big lines beckon, step up your game with the 115-flex Rossignol Men's Bandit B-Squad Composite Ski Boot. With a performance fit 98mm fore foot last, these freeride boots hug your foot closely for precise power transmission and feel. Composite reinforcements throughout the shell and cuff add strength where you need it, without adding weight. Rossignol added a layer of shock-absorbing Visco material to take the pins and needles out of big drop and fast lines. The Bandit B-Squad Composite Ski Boot's Pro Fit performance liner fight back the freeze on those chilly days, and holds your foot firmly in place, eliminating heel slop and cold toes.
Bottom Line: Burly freeride boots for burly skiers.

| A Solid Boot 01-13-09 |

| All in all a solid boot. Stiff, narrow, and powerful. However, do keep in mind that the fit of this boot is not for everyone (those with wide forefeet and narrow heels be forewarned). In my experience (as one with the aforementioned foot structure), the 98mm last held my feet firmly in place, both out of the box, and for the first few days of hard skiing (I'm 5'11'', 178, size 26.5). Around day 5, however, I started to notice a fair amount of heel slop developing... not a confidence inspiring feeling. Regardless, after extensive adjustments, a trip to a boot fitter, and a custom footbed later, I've got these boots dialed in and can once again use them for their main purpose (skiing hard, fast, steep lines). So, point being, if you know your appropriate size, definitely consider these boots. Just be prepared (esp. those with narrow heels) to spend a little extra as you get these things fully dialed in... not a huge issue when you're saving so much on the front end. |

| BOOO Rossignol Bandit B-Squad 03-29-09 |
JOHN GILCHRIST (420): |
| Love the fit and the flex but when I put them into Marker Jesters there was a lot of movement between the interface of toe piece of the binding and the toe of the boot. The toe height can't be adjusted on the Jesters so I will be passing on these boots. I put some Nordicas in the same bindings and everything was snug and there was no movement. |

| Its my first pair of skis and boots in a few years (normally a boarder), and I love them. I'm 6 ft., 165lbs and these boots feel extremely stiff to me. I run a 27.5, and the 27.5 fit me perfectly, though to be fair my feet fit in almost anything. Overall, very satisfied with this purchase. |
