Rome went with an ultralight three-part outsole that includes IceClimber tread keeps you upright when you’re hiking the steps to hit an urban rail for the 40th time that morning.

Super Comfy, Secure. and Lightweight. But a little too flexible and Soft. 08-18-09
This boot Is Super Comfy right out of the box. I recommend going a half size down from your regular shoe size. I usually wear a 10 in running shoes and casual shoes. so the 9.5 was a perfect fit! I have already tested the 2010 version of this boot and it is even better!I love the inside-out lacing. you can tighten the lacing that holds your ankle down without un-doing the outside laces. THE HEEL HOLD IS THE BEST ON THE MARKET!My Only Complaint is that overall, the boot is too soft for all mountain use. This is deffinately a Freestyle jumps and rails and boxes kind of boot.What I have done with mine, is i have put a ton of foward lean on my bindings(Burton Missions), and the boot conforms perfectly into the bindings so that i get a ton of response when transitioning from edge to edge!Ask me a question on here and i'll try to answer it.
This boot was by far the most comfortable boot right from day one. I had them heat molded and my feet feel like they're shrink wrapped in the boot. You can tighten/loosen the ankle cuff from the outside which is cool. This is a mid/soft flex boot that kills it all. I love it in pow, steeps, and trees as much as the park. The flex is perfect, ridiculously comfortable, and it looks sick. Get it!
These boots are super comfy, just like any other Rome boot i have tried. They are pretty mellow, fun, and comfy boots for riding park. They have everything possible to make them comfy and good.
If you like a mellow park boot, these are a sure fire way to going, "Damn these kinda feel funky".
