These shorts are as exactly described. A previous review stated that the buttons come off after several washes. I've not have that problem but it's possible due to the way the button is sewn or in this case, not sewn. The button is like a auto rim with the outside bigger and the inside smaller in diameter. It's basically attached to the fabric and I can see where over time, the metal button will tear the fabric apart and it's not possible to sow it back on since there are no places on the button for the needle to go through.

Nice looking, nice fitting shorts at a great price. However, after several washings, the buttons are falling off. Guess that's why they were on sale.
