The RED Women's Reya Helmet takes you into no-man's land with a women's specific fit and ultralight construction. This helmet's in-molded polycarbonate shell delivers serious protection that you can take into the terrain park or backcountry. As you hike, open up the venting system to stay cool. Close it up when you're ready to charge. For spring riding, easily remove RED's Quick Clip Ear Pads, and to eliminate goggle-gap, flip down the removable goggle gasket. - Fall 2008.

| The helmet works great at keeping my head warm. I have yet to truly test it out by smacking my head so I can't exactly report on that. The M2 system is a great addition and keeps the helmet snuggly on my noggen. The closing vents are nice. One complaint would be that not all vents close--and on a cold windy day, an extra layer under it is needed. |

| The ordered the helmet in medium. It is very wide and makes your head look huge and fat. I am returing the item. I recommend Bern helmets instead. |

| OK, so I don't look like a Euro speedracer. I wanted a helmet that fit just snug everywhere, but not tight. It doesn't rattle or slide about on rough MTB tracks. I think I might opt for goggles, since my Bolle sunglasses a pushed down by the helmet, giving me Yoda ears...but that's because the helmet is actually protecting my noggin! (and maybe because I actually have Yoda ears) |
