Description of Ride Delta MVMNT Snowboard Binding:
Ride designed the Delta MVMNT Binding specifically for freestyle killas who demand kick-ass performance. The Delta's Movement Chassis system delivers full-flex mobility a ridiculously light weight—Ride cut out the superfluous crap to give you just what you need. LandLite footbeds with EVA and Smooth Ride landing pads absorb shock on packed snow, and Ultralite Quick-Draw ratches will have you ready to go in no time.
Bottom Line: For uncompromised flex and a hardly-there weight.
This binding is very similar to the Beta with one difference, the ankle strap. The strap does not have the "hole" in the middle like the Beta has. In turn what this gives you is a more response from heel to toe when turning, but the highback continues to give you that medium flex to teak out every rail, box, spin, etc...
Ride also switched over to the UL ratchets on this binding as well giving you a smooth and easy to use ratchet that can take the abuse of a season of riding.
Very popular with the park riders, but this binding is great for any part of the mountain.
These are okay-ish binders. They get the job done but they are not excellent. The clicker lever is flimsy, I broke one and needed a replacement which Ride sent but it was slightly different than the one I had so it never held quite right so the strap would slip. The screws holding the straps to the base plate unscrew themselves really quickly. Bring our screwdriver because you'll need to re-tighten them at least twice a day. the straps themselves are pretty nice, the highback has a fair degree of flex but I did notice that when I rode these I got a lot of pain down the right side of my front foot shin, couldn't figure out why.
