Description of Ride VXN Snowboard Binding - Women's:
Ride built the Women's VXN Snowboard Bindings with your feet and ankles in mind. Ride gave the VXNs lower highbacks with more flare up top than you find on men's binders to accommodate your female shape. EVA landing pads on the baseplate make landing jumps a bit less jarring. Padded ankle straps fit your women's boots so you don't get pressure points, and the toe strap goes over or across your toes—you pick.
Bottom Line: Value and performance meet in the VXN.
First pair of bindings, so I can't compare too much to others, I have the 07s, and still riding them.
From day one, though, they have always been a little sticky to unstrap from, it gets kind of annoying. They haven't broken, but I always put the back down while riding the lifts.. Adequate binding, I hear Rides are (in general) very heavy because they are metal, so I probably wouldn't go with a Ride binding again. But they're not bad.
