Ride gave the Antic Snowboard a twinish shape and subtle ¾-inch stance setback to create an urban/park feel that can take on the entire mountain. Carbon Array core construction provides incredible feedback whether you're carving a foot of fresh or dropping the hammer on some spring corn. With this versatile Ride snowboard, you can kill it in the terrain park on one lap and then show your friends how to really rip a high-mountain couloir on the next.
Bottom Line: Bring your urban style to the whole mountain.
Think of the Antic-wide as the little brother to the Concept TMS. Just a bit softer and less responsive than the Concept TMS, but still gives you a 90a slimewall and 4000 fusion base. This board is meant to be taken anywhere on the mountain, great for someone that has a season of riding under their belt and is ready to progress or the seasoned veteran that is looking for a quality deck at an affordable price.
The waist width on this board allows riders with up to a size 10.5 boot. If you are a size 11+, take a look at the Antic-Wide, same board just a bigger waist width to prevent toe drag.
I thought it since it was not wide that it would corner crappy and that my toes and heels would scrape but they didn't. I love this board it has good flex but stabble on those tight turns. I live in PA were we have all the fake snow nothing but ice and it took it well and the response was great. great looking board as well
I got to ride this board before its release last year at Brighton. I was so surprised by the way this board rode for the price. I have been riding for 19 years and this board was so fun, damp and yet held an edge. I recomend to anyone that likes to have fun shredding the hill.
