Description of Ride Riot Snowboard Boot - Men's:
Ride took input from its pros Thomas, Flood, and Aubry to build the Men's Riot Snowboard Boot for hardcore all-terrain riders. The super supportive Riot takes on the backcountry as easily as it does the park and pipe. The leather Riot features Ride's Secure Fit Harness inside—tighten the harness lace to hold down your instep so your foot won't slip forward. The Wrap Liner folds over itself at your shin to give you additional stability. This liner's cored ankle pocket helps keep your heel in place to prevent boot slop, and air bags in its sole cushion your landings. Put the removable tongue stiffener behind this boot's 3D tongue for even more support.

Ride has brought one of the best boots produced to date out to the masses this year. Ride is now using the Intuition liner, same liner you find in Thirty Two boots. But the difference is they have added more foam padding to it and a 1-to-1 shell-to-liner. What that means is that the Ride Intuition isn't going to pack out like 32 liners do. If you get a 8.5 boot, both the shell and liner are a size 8.5 (Burton does this with their boots). So there isn't a ton of extra room in the boot for them to pack out. On top of that, they are the lightest boots I have ever had on my feet, and Ride has done a great job with reducing the volume of the shell so there isn't a ton of bulk. I really hated that I had to max out my bindings with my Thirty Two Vader last year because they were so bulky. The fit is pretty true to size on these boots; Ride runs true to Brannock sizing (every shoe store has a metal Brannock scale you can check your size with). If you are looking for a light, comfortable, stiff boot that isn't overly bulky and will not pack out and need to be replaced after 30 days, you will love this boot.
