Ride Beta MVMNT Snowboard Binding
Ride Snowboards hit the market in 1992 with four board models and a vision of building snowboards “for the people”. Originally based in Redmond WA, Ride proved its commitment to snowboarding by signing top pros and like Mikey LeBlanc, Hana Beaman, and JJ Thomas. After launching Cappel Clothing in 1994 and relocating to Preston, WA in 1995, Ride dropped Preston Bindings (later to become Ride Bindings and Ride Boots Ride Boots on the market. Ride is currently based in Seattle WA, and continues to develop revolutionary technologies and styles while staying true to its original vision of “selling the dream”.

Description of Ride Beta MVMNT Snowboard Binding:
Each and every Ride Beta MVMNT Snowboard Binding is spray painted or brushed with a one-of-a-kind graphic. The style, combined with a super cush landing system and full-flex mobility, make the Ride Beta MVMT a freestyle binding like nothing else out there. Rock the Convertible TL Toe Strap over the top or cap style, depending on your preference. Ride's Movement Chassis System provides plenty of lateral flex for tweaking out tricks, with enough heel-toe response to slay the powder. When your flying over the transition in the park and about to land flat, you'll appreciate that Ride included two layers of cushioning—a EVA and Smooth Ride Landing pads, and a Urethane Toolbar Basepad—to soak up some of the impact.

Bottom Line: The Ride Beta MVMT Snowboard—one-of-a-kind look, one-of-a-kind performance.

The beta binding is one of the best all mountain bindings on the market. It comes with the Movement tray, which is Ride's lightest weight aluminum tray to date. Added to that the cored ankle straps provide great support but still have a great medium/stiff flex to allow you to have fun in the terrain park. It also comes with Ride's convertible toe strap, which can be used as a traditional strap or a toe cap with it's stretchy material that stays in place. Light weight, responsive, comfortable, go everywhere and looks pretty bad ass to top it off. You will not be disappointed in this binding.

It's early in the season, and my mountain JUST recently opened top to bottom, but I love the Ride Beta MVMNTs. I'm a big guy, so I'm a big fan of the tough, rigid highbacks and the monster ankle strap. I dig the convertible toe cap/strap, but I notice you really have to tighten the piss out of it if you use it in toe cap form. These bindings fit my Ride Dose wonderfully. I'm not sure if it's just my particular boots, but my 32 Prospects don't fit the binding very well, there's some gappage in the heel cup. Lucky for me, I needed to buy new boots anyway, and the Ride Deuce's are a perfect fit. Keep in mind that if you're using a brand of boot other than Ride that you may not get a premium fit. Overall, great binding. Looking forward to rockin' em' all season long.
