Ride DH Snowboard
For years, Ride has been pushing the limits of Snowboard, Boot, and Binding construction to bring you the tools for everything from backcountry steeps to terrain parks to downtown rails. Progressive riders like Darrell Mathis, Mickey LeBlanc, and Hana Beaman put each of Ride’s new designs to the test. Whether you’re just getting into it or throwing down on the mountain’s biggest gaps, Ride makes the board for you.

Description of Ride DH Snowboard:
You'll find the Ride DH Snowboard strapped to the feet of Nico Droz while he's 15 feet above the lip in the pipe, stomping backcountry booters, and sliding rails. Why is the DH his freestyle deck of choice? First of all, urethane in the DH snowboard's sidewalls and core eliminate vibration to provide a smooth ride down rails or on the run-in to a huge gap jump. Second, an array of carbon under the bindings transfers all of Nico's energy to the board's contact point for vice-like edge hold while climbing pipe walls. Finally, if Nico lands too low on the transition and loses a bit of speed, he can count on the DH snowboard's Fusion 4000 base to get him to the other wall and the Response tuned core to lend him extra pop, allowing him to squeeze in another trick.

Bottom Line: If you can't have Nico Droz's skill, at least you can have his board—the Ride DH.

Fun deck, I was stoked to ride the 159 at a Demo back in February. Board has a great medium flex to it, not stiff, but not soft either. It is perfect for sliding rails and boxes and has great snap for popping off of kickers. I love the 85a slimewall on the board, the dampening it provides the board is great! You don't feel all the chatter/vibration that you normally get in the park. I held up great as I took the sidewall into a couple of boxes pretty hard and there wasn't a mark on it. The feel is just amazing too, you can really feel how your edges are responding and spinning is so much smoother that I normally feel. I have 10.5 boots and had no issues mounting up on the 159 at all. Great board to slay the park with and was fun to dork around with on the trail on the way to the terrain park.
