Description of Roxy Envi MTX Snowboard:
Roxy built the Women's Envi MTX Snowboard for freeride girls who live for powder days. The Envi Snowboard's Magne-Traction technology basically makes your snowboard's edge wavy, so you have more points of contact for unreal control and smooth turn initiation. Roxy gave the Envi MTX a stiff, all-mountain flex pattern for stability on high-speed runs and aggressive all-mountain riding, and constructed this snowboard with green-friendly bamboo. The bamboo also makes a killer canvas for the Envi Magne-Traction Freeride Snowboard's ink graphics.

This was my first Roxy board. I have been riding since 1990 and used to work in the snowboard industry, so I am pretty picky and knowledgeable about boards. The first time I rode this I was amazed how much confidence it gave me. I trust the edge to hold on the iciest slopes and for a shorter board, it handles speed really well. It is a lightweight, small board that is perfect in the park/pipe but can also excel in steep, fast, and challenging slopes. It turns on a dime and makes riding bumps fun, or at least as fun as riding bumps can be on a snowboard ;) The rippled edge takes a bit to get used to, mainly because you probably aren't used to being able to turn so fast, and it rides differently in powder, but once you get used to it, you'll never go back to a straight edge. On top of all of that it is a beautiful board and gets lots of compliments on its looks. Roxy hit it out of the park with this one.

This board go's everywhere and dose it with style and grace. The mange-traction on this bored makes it easy to handle even in icy conditions. This was the first time i have ever rode a MTX bored an i don't think I'll ever go back. It's also very lightweight and feels like it floats over any snow condition.

I am in love with this board! It's soo good! From park to pipe to freeride... it doesn't matter where you go, this board performs. I love it love it. Oh, and it's pretty too. ;)
