Bought this jacket for my mom cause she works at an elementary school and frequently has outside recess duty. She was always getting cold, even with a windproof fleece. Was concerned about the girly designs, etc. with my mom but they are very low key and the jacket fits nice and seems well constructed. She wanted a large to wear clothes underneath so the size was just right. Now all her teacher friends want one too!

The description says 10k, the summary in blue on the side says 5k. I work for Quiksilver and own this jacket in Grey Houndstooth colour, so I thought I'd clear this up. The Kiss Red colour has a 5k water resistancy rating, whereas the Grey is a limited edition release and carries a 10k rating. Hope this helps! Great jacket anyway.

A great jacket! Nice and warm, not too puffy so it doesnt get in the way. Packed with well thought-out features like Lycra hand gaitors with thumb holes make sure no snow gets up your sleeves, powder skirt hideaway system, watch windows. Very quick drying too! The fabric detail doesnt show up in the pics, but the metallic grey houndstooth looks awesome!!!
