I'm disappointed when descriptions end up being false. There is NO eVent waterproofing in these gloves!! It's some stuff I've never heard of called "Hyperion" or something like that. Only 10k waterproofing, not the 30k advertised. I was REALLY looking forward to the eVent goodness. Backcountry.com, please change the description accordingly! That being said, they seem like they could be OK, and they were cheap (on SAC), so I'm just going to stick with them rather than go through the hassle of returning them.
