Let me just start by saying that my feet (like those of so many athletes) have ISSUES. Occasional plantar fascitis, bunions, and a weird combination of narrow and wide on both feet combine to make it really hard for me to find shoes -- especially cute summer shoes. The Swell slide is my answer. Cork footbed is super-supportive and dries quickly. Suede uppers are surprisingly resilient. I can walk around in these all day without paying for it later. Even at $80, they're worth it.

I decided to try these sandals after a great pair of Patagoina winter boots. I haven't worn them much yet...still too much snow. I wear a 7 - 7.5 and have wide feet, I am wearing a 7 in these. They have more support that most sandals and have a confortable foot bed.

I have been wearing these for several weeks and found them attractive plus comfortable but the real test came when I was at a Georgia mountain resort, walking up and down hills then hiking around Nashville for a couple of days. Even though my legs are a bit sore, my feet feel great. I love the arch support, the cork footbed stays dry and the shoes are so light you almost feel as though you are barefoot. I love them and highly recommend to anyone wanting stylish comfort.
